A big step up from the last bottle and in a perfect window this evening. Deep ruby color, it is loaded with dark berries, raw meat and wild herbs mixed together with a strong yet subtle personality. This is truly a Burgundian style of Cote Rotie and I love it. I may be underrating the bottle as its purity can easily complete with the big boys of the region. Old
