it’s a joy to drink and will keep for another 10-15+ years

One for a long term though - this will be interesting to taste 8-10 years down the road

while preserving the essence of these grape varieties grown in the southern Rhône

Much more mature and classic austere BDX lots of secondary and some tertiary notes with nutty and leafy tobacco notes. Just gentle hints of fruit.
