19th Century Seaman’s Jack Knife by Johnson Western Works - Circa 1860’s Antique The 27th Division hadClassic example identical to American Knives, Peterson, figure 135 top (Preserved at Mystic Seaport Museum). Single blade, 3" with nail groove, marked C J Johnson Western Works. Johnson established 1865. Antler scale grips with iron butt plate. Excellent used condition with a little skillful sharpening to the blade. Equally suitable for a Civil War collection. Item listed in Petersons book (Shown in pictures) Book not included.
