Each slow growing 2' wide clump is topped with 3' tall scapes of near-white flowers in very late summer

but unfortunately we have been unable to track down its origin

Hosta Lakeside Spellbinder Thrillers It's possibly a dwarf formThis hybrid from the prolific Mary Chastain makes an attractive, 30" wide clump of very dark green, oval leaves, each highlighted by a creamy yellow center. Despite the bright center, this has proven to be a very good grower. The clumps are topped with 5' tall scapes of near white flowers in early summer.
