Original U.S. Civil War Officer's Dress Sword named to Brg. Gen. John Henry Hammond - Gen. Sherman's A.D.C. Snider Rifle Parts Attachment: Horizontal pin with catchOriginal Item: One of a Kind. This is an especially nice Officer's sword with a "Quill back" engraved blade, marked to have been made by W. CLAUBERG in SOLINGEN, Germany. The blade was then shipped to the U. S. and retailed by J. P. FITCH, NEW YORK.
