This is a very good example of a rare German WWII NSFK Service Kepi, often called a "Coffee Can Hat." These were worn by NSFK members when in uniform, such as at meetings and recruiting events. It is made of Fliegerblau (Flyer's Blue) "whipcord" woven fabric, with a faux scalloped skirt, and very nice Goldgelb (gold yellow) piping around the crown and scallop. The front crown has the correct early war NSFK
