This is an excellent all original example of a late war German Model 42 Steel helmet, outfitted for the Heer (army) component of the Wehrmacht. This stamped sheet steel construction helmet retains over 95% of its original paint. The left side of the helmet features a Heer eagle decal, which is retained 85%, with some areas chipped out with the paint and wear. It even still has the original ink "dome stamp" on the top
