Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Manitoba with mobilization headquarters at Winnipeg under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed April 18, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel M. McMeans with a strength of 23 officers and 596 other ranks. In
