This strapless formal vintage dress was designed by Michael Novarese in the 1960's

The pleating is reminiscent of Sybil Connely's and is so much more beautiful in person than can be represented by the photographs

The jacket has ¾ length sleeves and is also nicely pleated at the shoulders and down the back

I love this one and acquired it from an estate I handled that had some of the most incredible 1950's dresses and evening gowns! This dress is so beautifully made with blue lace over a cream silk built in slip dress and a built in tulle skirt. There is a back zipper and and the bodice is trimmed in a pretty pale cream silk organza. I would estimate this dress to be a modern
