Original 18th Century Ottoman Carved Horn Hilted Dagger in Scabbard - circa 1790 MG 42 Bolt & Barrel Assembly Designed to bring gunpowder toOriginal Item: Only One Available. At first we felt this might be RHINO Horn, but it is much more likely from a local horned animal. The horn grip is bag shaped and fully fluted in a very attractive manner. The 9 inch double edged blade is very curved and thin, making this a particularly vicious weapon. Dating as best we can tell to the end of the 18th Century, it has a figure "S" style iron cross guard. It comes with its original velvet covered wood
