An American Society Of The Army Of The Potomac In Gold, C.1890 Archive one is maker marked "Coinderoux"A 14K Gold double Maltese cross enamelled in red, with badges of six of the corps assigned to the army, the centre obverse presents a seal with a crescent moon, a star, and the cipher AP, the reverse is engraved with the number 721, measuring 33. 12 mm (w) x 33. 12 mm (h), with a top piece of crossed cavalry sabres, attached to a blue and white ribbon, a pair of crossed cannons below the ribbon, and in near very fine condition.
